Gombak: A senior assistant director at Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry arrested for recruiting Malaysians into IS, recently had been receiving external funds for his recruitment activities.
Inspector-General Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the 37-year old suspect who is believed to be responsible of recruiting IS members locally is also being investigated over the source of his funding.
"Police are investigation the network involved and the source of the funding, among others," he said
Khalid added that police are also expected to make more arrests soon in," he said.
