1,500 DELEGATES ATTEND CONFERENCE

PUTRAJAYA: Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa checked on the final preparations for the Public Administration and Management (Capam) 2014 Biennial Conference at the Putrajaya International Convention here on Friday. This is the second time Malaysia is hosting the three-day conference which starts today.

He said the conference in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Capam, would be participated by 1,500 delegates, 400 of whom were from member countries.

Among the exhibition booths that will be held in conjunction with the conference, featured the history of the Malaysian civil service and innovations made by it.

Capam 2014 themed “Public Service Transformation: A New Conversation” is organised with the cooperation of the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu) and is being held in conjunction with the Commonwealth Secretariat and Public Service Ministers Forum.
