TAIPING: PROPERTY developer MK Land Holdings Bhd recently unveiled its new project, The Jana Kampung Living Sanctuary, here.
The Jana, built on the grounds of Taiping Golf & Country Club in Kamunting, here, is an idyllic kampung retreat for those looking to get away from it all.
The newly-completed phase one offers five chalets in the style of traditional Malay village homes, overlooking fruit trees and vegetables farms.
There are two one-bedroom chalets measuring 38.7sq m each and three two-bedroom chalets measuring 53sq m each.
Each chalet has a living area, pantry, bathroom and veranda, complete with air-conditioners, a microwave and water heater.
Recreational facilities available are an 18-hole golf course, a clubhouse, swimming pool, gym and tennis court.
Guests also have the option of fishing, playing traditional games, touring the durian orchard and even taking part in team-building activities at The Jana.
A host of packages are available to cater to different needs. These include the Stay at Kampung Living Sanctuary, Malay Wedding, King Fruits Trail and Team Building packages.
MK Land Holdings Bhd executive director Tan Sri Dr Mustapha Kamal said the traditional kampung-style accommodation would appeal to tourists, especially foreigners who wish to experience living in a village home.
“The Jana offers guests a taste of life in the kampung with its fruit trees, vegetable farms and abundance of flora and fauna,” he said.
