PEKAN: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Najib Razak visited ailing Datuk Seri Ghazali Kasim, who is former Pekan Umno permanent chairman, at the latter's home in Kampung Parit Tengah here today.
Ghazali, 83, is suffering from Parkinson disease.
His wife Datin Seri Razmah Zainuddin, 79, said Ghazali could barely walk after he was down with the ailment in the past 10 years.
She said Ghazali, a former teacher, is related to the late Tun Razak Hussein.
Najib also visited another two ailing family friends - former Pekan Wanita Umno permanent chairman Datin Zamzam Abdul Samah, 81, and Umno veteran Abdul Rahman Ahmad - before attending the wedding reception for the daughter of Pekan Umno Religious Bureau Datuk Ariffin Daud at Datuk Shahbandar housing area here.
