IPOH: Two Malindo Airline maiden flights on the Ipoh to Medan and Ipoh to Johor Baru routes started operations recently.
Earlier this month, Malaysia’s hybrid airline Malindo Air launched the Ipoh-Subang route. The airline had announced that this would be followed by the Ipoh-Johor Baru flight on a daily basis and Ipoh-Medan flight on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Malindo Air chief executive officer Chandran Rama Muthy said the new flights to Johor Baru and Medan were expected to encourage more passenger movement at the newly-upgraded Sultan Azlan Shah Airport, here.
“Currently, we are offering a promotional fare of RM70 for Ipoh-Medan all-inclusive for one-way trips while the Ipoh-Johor Baru fare is priced at RM79 all-inclusive for a one-way trip.”
