Malaysia Cup 2014: Which team will emerge victorious?

BUKIT JALIL - Attention of millions will be on the Malaysia Cup final between Pahang and Darul Ta'zim (JDT).

At the moment however, it is Sarawak that is stealing show.

The 'Lan Berambeh' Anak Sarawak Carnival 2014, is drawing both sets of fans, who have been coming in droves since morning.

The three day festival sees a showcase of Sarawakian cuisine and culture.

There were concerns that scenes at the Bukit Jalil stadium - where the final is taking place - would be chaotic with three different events taking place today.

Aside from the Malaysia Cup final and the Lan Berambeh festival, a Buddhist celebration is also taking place in the vicinity.

However, everything seems to be in order, with a heavy police presence to ensure things go smoothly.

Over 100,000 people are expected to be in the vicinity for all three events.

A brief, but heavy downpour caused the walkway infront of the LRT station entrance here to flood.

This caused a bit of congestion, with football fans arriving from town hesitant to get their feet wet.

This however failed to deter the fans who were eager to get into the stadium to catch the Malaysia Cup final between Pahang and Darul Ta'zim.

While some fans waded into the water, others were seen skipping over sections of the flooded area.

Despite this, there were smiles all round as excitement continues to build around the stadium.
