Shaklee eyes RM600m sales this year

KUALA LUMPUR: Shaklee Products (M) Sdn Bhd is tapping growth in the local direct-selling industry and new customers to double sales to RM600 million this year.

Its president Victor Lim said the company is gearing up for another year of spectacular growth.

Last year, Shaklee Malaysia achieved around RM300 million in sales.

Lim said the company’s opportunities for growth are boundless as the healthcare and supplements industries in Malaysia and globally continue to flourish.

“With a vibrant direct-selling market, we expect to see some exciting growth by the end of this year,” he told Business Times in an interview, here, recently.

 Lim said growth will be supported by aggressive recruitments, intense sales training of its distributors, more attractive offers and new product lines.

Shaklee Malaysia is currently among the top five direct-selling companies in the country.

Moving forward, Lim expects the company’s performance to improve as it expands its distributorship network and market presence.
