KANGAR: The flood situation in the state is fully recovered as all the flood relocation centres were closed at 6pm today.
Rescue agencies such as Malaysian Civil Defence Department (JPAM) were now shifting their focus on assisting the evacuees to clean up their houses.
JPAM spokesperson said almost 100 staffs and officers from the department took part in the massive clean up operation in all flood-hit areas since early today.
Besides houses, he said the team had also helped to clean up affected mosques and school.
“At the same time, we are also on stand-by in the event of the flood recurring especially in flood-prone area such as Titi Tinggi and Batu Bertangkup in Padang Besar,” he said.
