KUALA LUMPUR: The Stars of Beatlemania from Los Angeles, the US, will be performing at Lejadi Foundation’s charity dinner tomorrow night.
It will be held at Sunway Resort Hotel’s Grand Lagoon Ballroom at 8pm.
The band is made up of artistes from movie and Broadway productions.
In a statement, Lejadi Foundation chairman, group president and chief executive officer Tan Sri Dr Lim Ewe Jin said proceeds from the dinner will be used to help the destitute in need of critical surgeries, fund outstanding students who come from poor families, as well as support and fund projects aimed at nature conservation.
Tickets are sold at RM90 onwards for non-diners and RM300 onwards per diner, with 1,500 people expected to attend.
Maybank credit and debit cards and American Express cardholders are entitled to a 10 per cent discount on tickets priced at RM500 and above, and five per cent discounts on those below RM500.
The Stars of Beatlemania feature the same performers who starred in the Broadway production Beatlemania and the 1981 motion picture hit Beatlemania.
Using costumes and vintage instruments, the production promises to provide the world’s premier Beatles experience.
