KUALA LUMPUR: Head over to Sunway Lagoon to catch its year-end show, LumiAir — a Cirque Extraordinaire.
The show, which runs every Tuesday to Sunday until Dec 24 at 7.30pm, will feature a cast of 30 international cirque performers in brilliant costumes and stunning scenery.
Sunway Shopping Malls and Theme Parks chief executive officer HC Chan said the strategic partnership between Sunway Lagoon and LumiAir was also to commemorate Sunway Group’s 40th Anniversary.
“LumiAir would be a wonderful way to cap 2014 as a special exciting year for the Sunway Group as we look forward to bigger and exciting adventures to come our way in 2015.”
He said it was the first time LumiAir was making its appearance in Malaysia.
“This is also part of our corporate social responsibility programme as we will allocate between 5,000 and 10,000 seats for the less fortunate,” he said, adding that Sunway was expecting more than 50,000 visitors.
LumiAir producer and director Susan Porrett said she was excited about the first-ever collaboration with Sunway Lagoon.
“The two-hour production is set to mesmerise the audience. The show will feature beautiful dancers, and breathtaking acrobatic performances in an illusion of colour and vibrant energy.”
