KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit opened lower today against the US dollar and mixed against other major currencies.
At 9.01am, the ringgit was quoted at 3.4720/4750 against the US dollar from 3.4620/4650 recorded at 5 pm yesterday.
The local unit was higher against the yen at 2.9167/9199 versus yesterday’s 2.9240/9273. It fell against the Singapore dollar to 2.6421/6450 from Thursday’s 2.6349/6392.
It rose against the euro to 4.2626/2670 from Thursday’s 4.2676/2723. It declined against the pound to 5.4347/4408 from yesterday’s 5.3973/3044. – BERNAMA
