Formed eight years ago, the quartet — comprising Denise, Isabella, Vittoria and Sofia — will showcase their vocal skills through modern reinterpretation of classic numbers and music based on Mozart, Bellini, Verdi, and Giacomo Puccini’s timeless pieces.
Based in Rome, the young classical trained members have won several international operatic singing contests, and had their debut collaboration with Maestro Andrea Bocelli in 2008. Le Div4s has performed in Ono Stadium (Palma, Majorca), Odeion of Erode Atticus and Salle de Megaron (Athens), 02 Arena (London), Men Arena (Manchester) and The 02 (Dublin).
“Opera is our forte, and we strive to deliver the highest form of performance, so as to give our audience an unforgettable music experience,” says Denise, describing her group as “passionate, joyful, and exquisite.”
In 2011, Le Div4s released their debut album, Opera, under Universal Music. The album is followed by the Opera Tour, which brought the quartet to many prestigious stages such as the Moscow International Music Center, as well as in Riga, Belgrade, Paris, Yerevan and the Venice International Film Festival. This year, they travelled to big cities around the world such as Berlin, New York, Las Vegas, Toronto, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Beijing, Hong Kong, Dubai, Shanghai, Melbourne, Sydney, and Taiwan.
For their upcoming show at Genting Highlands, Denise says: Our show will be a variety of opera and Christmas numbers. We are excited to bring Italian music to Malaysia, and to celebrate Christmas together with our Malaysian audience.”
