UniMAP appoints student council

ALOR STAR: Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) recently appointed its new student representative council (MPP) in an official presentation of credentials ceremony at Grand Alor Hotel, here. 

Farizah Abdul Rahman from the School of Business Innovation and Technopreneurship was elected president for 2014/2015. 

UniMAP vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Kamarudin Hussin expressed hopes that the student representative council would carry out the manifestos unveiled during the campaign period.

Kamaruddin said the university had targeted to reach five goals
under the 11th Malaysia Plan (RMK11) and the agendas were in sync with the new council’s manifestos.

“The five agendas are graduate employability, nurturing entrepreneurship (one graduate one company), quality and holistic graduate, innovation ecosystem and value creation and high order thinking skills.” By Zahratulhayat Mat Arif
