KUALA LUMPUR: Four lucky Malaysians were given a rare opportunity to witness the Manchester United versus Liverpool match live at Old Trafford recently.
Unilever’s leading anti-dandruff shampoo, Clear partnered with Manchester United to organise the “Clear and Manchester United Contest” where winners would be given a chance to watch their favourite team square off with Liverpool.
Organisers came up with a simple challenge to test the participants through a game of skill and swiftness, where those who answered the questions fastest won the contest.
The two grand prize winners, Arunmoli Palayathan and Ciwan Palaniappan, won a 5-day, 4- night trip to Manchester from Dec 11 to Dec 15, with a companion of their choice.
Arun brought a close friend with him while Ciwan brought his 14-year old daughter.

Before the match, the winners were treated to a pitch side photo opportunity with former Manchester United player Bryan Robson.
The winners were escorted to the Treble Suite for pre-match refreshments where they met other football greats such as Mickey Thomas, Lou Macari and Arthur Albiston.

Manchester United defeated Liverpool with a score of 3-0 in the match.
