Johor flood evacuees dropped to 332

JOHOR BARU: The number of flood victims has dropped significantly today as fine weather was reported in most parts of the state.

As of 8pm., a total of 332 victims from 85 families are still seeking shelter at nine flood relief centres in four districts in Johor yesterday.

Johor National Security Council (NSC) said Kluang is still the district with the highest number of flood victims with 163 victims from 38 families currently being housed at four centres there.

This is followed by Batu Pahat (112 victims from 32 families), Segamat (39 victims from 9 families), and Muar (18 victims from six families).

All the 34 victims from 11 families in Pontian have returned to their home, as the flood water level has gone down.

Three centres each are still operating in Kluang and Segamat, followed by two in Batu Pahat and one in Muar.
