KUCHING: The wet spell continues to wreak havoc in Sarawak with more people being evacuated to flood relief centres around the state.
As at 8pm today, the numbers of flood evacuees have risen by 10 fold to 6,374 people from 690 people yesterday.
State Police Commissioner Datuk Seri Muhammad Sabtu Osman said a total of 30 relief centres in Sarawak have been activated to house the affected families.
