PUTRAJAYA: Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry will announce the enforcement of the Strata Management Act 2013 soon.
The ministry stated the Local Government Council Meeting, which was chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, had agreed on the date which was tabled in the meeting today.
"This Act is comprehensive and will replace the the Building and Joint Property (Maintenance and Management) 2007," said the ministry in a statement.
It added the government had also agreed to establish a Strata Management Tribunal.
