KUALA LUMPUR: Department of Civil Aviation today clarified that the scheduled press conference on MH370 was cancelled due to the presence of next of kin.
In a statement, the department said there were special arrangements that had been made to communicate with next of kin.
“Subsequently, arrangements have been made for the DCA Director-General (Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman) to record the statement, which will be aired by the Malaysian broadcaster RTM at 6pm,” it said.
