KOTA KINABALU: Three men killed in an accident in Keningau last night were Parti Bersatu Sabah Youth Exco members.
They were Peter Tan Che Vui @ Peter Chin, 44, Dolsin Marindang, 42, while the third victim was identified only as Andrew, according to Sabah Barisan Nasional Secretary Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan who expressed his condolences to their families on his Facebook account.
The three were on their way back here after attending a party programme in Pamilaan , Tenom when the car they were in plunged into a river near Kampyng Senagang at about 11.30pm.
The three victims were among seven people who died in three accidents in different districts last night.
Earlier in Kota Marudu a man, his wife and their daughter were killed when a motorcycle they were on collided with a 4 wheel drive vehicle in Kampung Tanah Merah at about 8.15pm.
District Fire and Rescue Operations Officer Rashid Sulaiman said the man identified as Japri Maun, 27, was burnt to death in the accident while his wife Lili Murni Gilong, 24 and daugher who was not identified died after being thrown off the motorcyle on impact.
In Kudat at about 10.30pm a man was killed while eight people, six men and two women, were injured in an accident involving three cars at Kampung Parapat, according to a spokesman for the district fire and rescue station.
