IPOH: Police have obtained seven days remand order against a 26-year-old woman to assist in investigation into the death of a three-year-old toddler.
The order was given by magistrate Nurul Asyifa Redzuan here today.
The suspect was picked up at the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun mortuary on Wednesday where the victim’s body was sent for post mortem.
It was reported that Nor Saraniya Abdullah had been declared dead by ambulance personal who was sent to her home at Taman Klebang Jaya in Chemor here on Tuesday.
The cause of death had been identified as sepsis with malnutrition.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
