Perak held to goalless draw by Kelantan

IPOH: Perak failed to capitalise on their homeground advantage when they were held to goalless draw by Kelantan in a Super League match at Perak Stadium last night.

In the third minute, the hosts were nearly stunned when Kelantan import Erwin Albeiro Carillo’s shot was narrowly tipped off by goalkeeper, Zamir Selamat.

Even though both teams had their fair share of attacks, Kelantan were seen as the more dominant side.

In the second half, both sides failed to find the net despite making several close moves.

Perak’s import, Charles Souza Chad nearly put the silver state ahead in the 79th minute but his shot went wide.

The closest call came from the visitors when substitute Wan Zack Haikal Wan Nor who came in to replace captain, Mohd Badhri Radzi in the last minute, blasted a lethal looking long shot which was slightly off target and the match ended 0-0.--BERNAMA
