KUALA LUMPUR: Quill Capita Trust (QCT) has received shareholders’ approval to acquire Platinum Sentral, a commercial development worth RM740 million.
In a statement, the main-market listed QCT said the acquisition would be funded via a cash payment of RM476 million and RM264 million by the issuance of 206,250,000 consideration units at an issue price of RM1.28 per unit.
“Upon completion of the corporate exercise, QCT’s total assets will increase from RM868 million to RM1.6 billion and our position will improve from the current 13th to become the 8th largest among listed REITs in Malaysia,” it said. -- BERNAMA
