LTdL 2015: Algerian Youcef Reguigui gets yellow jersey

KUALA LUMPUR: Algerian rider, Youcef Reguigui clinched the coveted overall champion title in today's final stage race of the Le Tour De Langkawi 2015.

The 25-year-old rider took over the yellow jersey from Australian rider, Caleb Ewan of Orica GreenEdge who had held the jersey since stage three on Tuesday.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak awarded the yellow jersey to Reguigui who is making his maiden appearance in the race.

Reguigui had dedicated the victory to his new born baby Messah.

The best Asia team was won by Pegasus Continental Cycling team while the White jersey was awarded to Tomohiro Hayakawa from the Aisan Racing Team.

The blue jersey was awarded to Australian Ewan Caleb from the team Orica Greenedge

The final stage of the race involved a distance of 96.1km from Kuala Kubu Baharu to Dataran Merdeka with three sprint zones.
