Johor state secretary signs condolence book for Lee kuan Yew

JOHOR BARU: Johor state secretary Datuk Ismail Karim today signed the condolence book for Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore’s first prime minister who died on Monday, at the Singapore consulate here.

He also conveyed his condolences on behalf of the state government to the consul-general, Ian Mark.

More than 300 Malaysians and foreigners have signed the condolence book that was opened on Monday. It will be open until Sunday, from 9 am to 6 pm.

Kuan Yew died at 3.18am on Monday at the Singapore General Hospital where he was admitted on Feb 5 for severe pneumonia.--BERNAMA
