Encorp shares rise on potential collaboration talks

KUALA LUMPUR: Encorp Bhd’s shares on Bursa Malaysia rose in early trading as the the company clarified that it was still in discussions with Felda in exploring potential collaboration.

As at 10.19 am, the counter rose five sen to RM1.44 with 1.16 million shares changing hands.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Tuesday, the company, however, said it had not reached any formal terms or agreement with Felda.

Encorp said it was merely clarifying a recent report which said the company was confident of securing joint ventures with Felda in developing landbanks in Selangor, Malacca and Johor. – Bernama
