Anti-climax for Chong Wei in Amsterdam

KUALA LUMPURL It was anti-climax in Amsterdam today as no decision was made over Datuk Lee Chong Wei's doping case.

Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin tweeted that the Badminton World Federation (BWF) will come up with a verdict within three weeks.

Chong Wei, accompanied by BA of Malaysia (BAM) general manager Kenny Goh, appeared before a three-member panel from BWF in Amsterdam at 10am today. The hearing took more than six hours to complete.

The three-time All England champion tested positive for the banned substance dexamethasone during the World Championships in Copenhagen last August.
