BUTTERWORTH: PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has denied that five of the party assemblymen are planning to abandon ship and support former Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
"I am not aware of the matter and will verify it," she claimed during her walk-about session in Permatang Pauh today.
It was reported in several blogs yesterday that five PKR assemblymen are planning to jump from the party to support Khalid's move to unseat current Selangor MB Mohamed Azmin Ali.
The was following Khalid's alleged meeting with Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang in Jakarta a few days back.
