Permatang Pauh folks unhappy with PKR

BUKIT MERTAJAM: The electorates in the Permatang Pauh constituency are fed up with inaction from PKR to help the needy, Penang Umno Liaison Committee chairman Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Osman said.

Zainal fired a salvo to PKR's continuous absence in the past 17 years, saying that the public feedback from the campaign was that they had enough of that party.

"The voters said they had never seen any of PKR representatives on the ground after voting over the last 17 years.

"On the contrary, Barisan Nasional are here to serve the people, that is our difference from PKR," he told reporters in a press conference at the BN Command Centre, Bandar Perda here.

Meanwhile, BN candidate Suhaimi Sabudin said he had received positive response from the electorates to get their mandate in the polls during his walkabout at markets earlier.
