KOTA KINABALU: A disabled man was burnt to death when a fire gutted his home along with four other houses in Kampung Kolopis, Penampang near here early today.
Sabah Fire and Rescue spokesperson Mohd Affendi K. Ramin said the charred body of Jeren Kilong, 36, was found in one of the rooms in his house in the 1am incident.
He said 22 firemen in five fire engines from here and Penampang extinguished the fire a short while after being alerted at 1.16 am.
The cause and losses are still under investigation. – BERNAMA
