BUTTERWORTH: Barisan Nasional candidate Suhaimi Sabudin received a bouquet from a woman in his walkabout campaign today in the lead-up to the Permatang Pauh by-election.
It was a pleasant surprise to Suhaimi to get the chrysanthemum from trader N Komathi, 59, when he made a stopover at the Seberang Jaya wet market.
Suhaimi is embarking on a full day campaign as his entourage continue their round at various areas in the constituency to canvass for votes.
He started off his daily campaign by going for a door-to-door visit at the Guar Jering neighbourhood near Bukit Mertajam.
