JOHOR BARU: A 44-year-old security guard was charged for the murder of a bank manager and causing grievous hurt to another bank employee in an incident in Taman Molek here on April 17.
No plea was recorded from Rosly Mohd Ismail when the charges were read to him in front of Magistrate Mohd Azlan Shah Mohd Alias, here today.
Rosly was charged with the murder of Ho Chin Tau on the first floor of the HSBC Bank at Jalan 1/10, Taman Molek here at 3.40pm on April 17 under Section 302 of the penal code.
He is faced with another charge under Section 326 of the penal code for causing grievous to R.G. Vasantha Devi, 54.
Mohd Azlan set May 28 for re-mention pending a post-mortem on the deceased and the other victim.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Dzul Iswari prosecuted. Rosly was unrepresented.
