ROMPIN: The Rompin by-election proceeded smoothly without any complaints of incident today.
Chief of media centre for the by-election, Superintendent Abdul Aziz Mahmud said voters and party supporters obeyed the rules during the polling process.
"The situation has been under control in all areas since polling started at 8am," he said when contacted.
Aziz said slow-moving vehicles could be seen in several areas as voters parked their cars along the roadside leading to the polling centres.
However, Aziz said, there was no reports of accidents involving the public.
