BUKIT MERTAJAM: Three unemployed men were jointly charged at the magistrate's court today with killing a 20-year-old man in Kampung Manis, Prai.
The trio were alleged to have murdered Jahangir Shamsuddin near a bridge at a sugar factory about 9am on Feb 11.
No plea was recorded from the three accused, A.Prabagaran,26, G.Thanaseelan,28, and P.Sasidaran,25.
No bail was allowed for the trio.
All three accused were represented by lawyer Ravin Jay Kumar while deputy public prosecutor Kairulniza Md Zain prosecuted.
They face a mandatory death sentence each under Section 302 of the Penal Code upon conviction.
Magistrate Diannee Ningrad Nor Azahar fixed mention on July 13.
