GEORGE TOWN : Conduct health screenings on Rohingya migrants should they land in the country, Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya said.
He said if the boat people (Rohingya migrants) are accepted into Malaysia, every district health office should conduct health screenings before allowing them in.
"The Health Ministry is carrying out our duties to ensure Malaysians are safe from viral diseases such as tuberculosis and leprasy," he said here today after launching the state World Health Day 2015 in Balik Pulau.
