KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI futures contract (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower today on weak buying as investors tracked the underlying cash market’s performance.
At 9.45 am, May 2015 was 6.0 points lower at 1,750, June 2015 decreased 7.0 points to 1,747.5, September 2015 fell 6.5 points to 1,745 and December 2015 was flat at 1,752.5.
Turnover amounted to 7,298 lots while open interest totalled 42,019 contracts.
The benchmark FBM KLCI was 8.85 points easier at 1,755.22 points after 48 minutes of trading.--BERNAMA
