KUALA LUMPUR: An accounts clerk from a military housing cooperative was fined RM18,000 for running a free porn blog.
Asnizukacaras Saari was slapped with the fine by the Sessions Court today when he pleaded guilty to using his blog to provide obscene content which annoyed others.
The 36-year-old committed the offence at Koperasi Perumahan Angkatan Tentera Berhad at Jalan Wangsa Delima 5, Wangsa Maju here, around 2pm on Dec 2, 2013.
The Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) raid on the cooperative found pornography in the form of 131 videos and 2590 pictures.
Judge Zulqarnain Hassan ordered Asnizukacaras to undergo a month's jail if he failed to settle the fine.
MCMC prosecuting officer Zairulnahar Zakaria prosecuted while Asnizukacaras was unrepresented.
