Salesman pleads guilty to 44 traffic offences, 89 summons, claims trial for causing death

JAWI: A salesman pleaded guilty to 44 counts of various traffic offences at the magistrate's court here today.

P. Joshua, 26, was fined a total of RM16,200, in default of 222 days in jail, for the offences.

He pleaded guilty to committing all the offences between Nov 25, 2007 and Apr 5, 2015.

Joshua had a total of 89 traffic summonses, of which 44 were issued warrants of arrest.

Meanwhile, Joshua also claimed trial to causing the death of a motorist while driving under the influence of alcohol on Nov 11, 2014.

He was not represented while Deputy Public Prosecutor Siti Nor Sakinah Ibrahim.
