MIDA has RM27bil in pipeline investments

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) has RM27 billion of investments in the pipeline so far this year.

Of the total, RM17.6 billion comes from the manufacturing sector and the rest from the services sector.

Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and UK lead the pack of potential investors.

International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed expects the applications to be approved by the end of the year.

The applications include natural gas, E&E, food manufacturing and oil and gas sectors.
