KUALA LUMPUR: Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has quashed rumours he is quitting the Cabinet as reported by a news portal .
In his twitter posting at 7.30am, he said he was not quitting. "No I am not - negative spin" by some by some irresponsible people."
It was reported yesterday in Free Malaysia Today news portal Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah's spin doctor Sayuti Omar had predicted that two ministers were going to resign.
Sayuti did not identify these two ministers or say when they would resign, but Hishammuddin and and Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal were rumoured to be the two.
