KUALA LUMPUR: The Auditor-General's Department has completed its interim report into state sovereign fund 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).
In a statement today, the Auditor-General, Tan Sri Ambrin Buang said the interim report would be handed to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) during a briefing scheduled on July 9.
"The interim report was an audit conducted by the Auditor-General's Department beginning March 10 until June 15.
"The audit into 1MDB is ongoing and a final report will be given to the PAC as soon as possible, this year," he said.
