TAHPS shares up on plan to develop RM10b township

KUALA LUMPUR: – TAHPS Group Bhd’s shares rose in the morning session today after it unveiled plan to develop a 283-hectare township in Bukit Puchong, Selangor with a total gross development value of RM10 billion.

At 12.20 pm, its shares rose 25 sen to RM7.85 with 11,300 shares traded.Chief Executive Officer, Tan Seng Chye, told reporters after the annual general meeting yesterday the development of the township would keep the company busy for the next decade.

The company was currently in the process of developing a masterplan, which would be unveiled in November or December, he said.

He said the township would consist of residential and commercial properties.

As of March 31, 2015, TAHPS’ unbilled sales stood at RM40 million while its cash position at RM132 million. -- BERNAMA
