JOHOR BARU: Newly-appointed Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said has thanked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak for giving her the trust to become a Cabinet member once again.
She admitted the appointment came as a surprise for her, but she said she was prepared to serve the country to the best of her ability.
"I've been a minister before, so this is another role for me. I am also the chairman for Finas (National Film Development Corporation). This is work and I'm a soldier when I do my work," said Azalina, who is Pengerang member of Parliament.
She had previously been in the Cabinet as Youth and Sports Minister between 2004 and 2008, and then later as Tourism Minister between 2008 and 2009.
