KUALA LUMPUR : Debris found on Maldives is not from Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai told reporters at Wisma MCA today that he was told by the Malaysia investigation team who had gone there to examine it.
"My team has witnessed the debris and most of them are negative. They are not related to MH370 and not even plane material," he said.
If any of the remaining debris is believed to be from MH370, he said it would be handed over to the investigation team.
Datuk Seri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman and two others returned to Malaysia early this morning from Maldives. The team headed there on Wednesday.
