GEORGE TOWN: The situation in Penang International Airport is chaotic following a long queue of people waiting for taxis this morning.
The taxis were believed to have been caught in the massive traffic jam at Lebuhraya Lim Chong Eu around 9am today.
Over 20 people were queuing for the public transport but only three taxis were seen at about 9.40am.
Tourists are frustrated waiting for their taxis for more than 45 minutes.
However, the situation is under control as of 11.10am as more taxis are called in by the airport authorities.
