Tunku Imran retains his post as President of OCM

KUALA LUMPUR: Tunku Imran Tuanku Ja'afar today retained his Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) president post, following the elections.

Tunku Imran, who has held on to the position for the past 17 years defeated Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) president Tan Sri Mohd Anwar Mohd Nor by 63 votes to 41.

Newcomer Datuk Seri Norza Zakaria, defeated Tan Sri Mohamad Noor Abdul Rahim by 78 votes to 26 for the deputy president post.

Former vice president Datuk Low Beng Choo was elected secretary general. Beng Choo garnered 66 votes against Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah's 38.
