KUALA LUMPUR: Long-standing Japanese rock band Alice Nine returns to our shores for a concert at KL Live in Jalan Sultan Ismail on Nov 1.
Called Alice Nine 2015 Re:birth-Tensyou- Live in Kuala Lumpur, the concert will be held to promote the band’s latest album Sound Of The Galaxy.
The album marks the band’s return from a year-long hiatus after completing its 10th anniversary Asia tour last year.
After the album’s release on Aug 23, Alice Nine will begin its Japan tour, followed by an Asian tour, where Kuala Lumpur will be the last stop.
Alice Nine, who had performed here last year in June, comprises five members, namely Shou (vocals), Hiroto (guitar), Tora (guitar), Saga (bass) and Nao (drums); and is also known as a visual kei group (which is known for its use of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes while performing).
Formed in 2004, the band has put out six full-length albums and several singles and EPs to date.
Some of its biggest hits include Rainbows, Tsubasa, Blue Flame, Senkou and Hana.
Tickets to ALICE NINE 2015 Re:birth-Tensyou- Live in Kuala Lumpur are priced at RM390 (Die-Hard category), RM180 (J-Rock category) and RM50 (Rock category).
