Tunku Imran lose Commonwealth Games presidency (with video)

KUALA LUMPUR: Tunku Imran Tuanku Ja'afar's four year reign as the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) president came to an end in Auckland today.

He was defeated by Scotland's Louise Martin at the federation's general assembly.

Louise, who was the secretary with the previous board is also the CGF's first female president.

"I would like to thank you all for being a great organisation, and it has been a pleasure to have led for the past four years," Tunku Imran was quoted saying in a video posted online by the CGF.
