TELUK INTAN: The search and rescue (SAR) operation for the victims of the capsized boat in Sabak Bernam waters resumed at Hutan Melintang jetty at 7am today.
Hilir Perak district deputy police chief Superintendent Yahaya Hassan said the SAR team would expand their search area with the help from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) air unit.
He also said that the body of the 15th victim was brought to the jetty at 9.15pm last night.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is also scheduled to visit the jetty today and MMEA operation centre at Ladang Kuala Bernam ferry jetty at 11am.
Zahid, who is Bagan Datoh Member of Parliament, will visit the survivors at Hutan Melintang police station later today.
