KUALA LUMPUR: In a worldwide anticipation for The Walking Dead Season 6, which is slated to premiere on Oct 12, around 30 media members from various publications joined The Walking Dead party, organised by Fox International Channels yesterday.
Held at the @sikitatas.com Restaurant & Bar, Wisma Perintis at Damansara Heights, the party was chockful with fun-activities including zombie make-up for guests, a treasure hunt, and fun quizzes related to the series which saw guests vying to win a three-day-two-night trip for two to attend the premiere of The Walking Dead Season six in Madison Square Garden in New York.
Entertainment writer Hanisah Selamat, 41, from Berita Harian emerged winner of the competition.
“Today is a lucky day for me. I really didn’t expect to win.
“Maybe I will bring my husband or one of my children to come along with me to New York,” she said, with a wide smile on her face.
Hanisah is down to attend the premiere, expected to be the largest public screening in the world, with thousands of The Walking Dead fans converging to watch the series on this one night.
Here, The Walking Dead Season 6 will premiere also on Oct 12 at 9pm over Fox HD (Astro channel 724).
