SHAH ALAM: An Indonesian worker died after he was buried in a three-metre drain during excavation works at Jalan Parang 19/8 in Seksyen 19, here, this morning.
In the 10.30am incident, the worker, known as Jalmi was found lifeless by the Fire and Rescue Department team despatched to the location.
“We received a call about the incident at 10.27am and reached the location at 10.34am.
“The victim, an Indonesian worker known as Jalmi, who was in his 20s, died in the incident.
“His body was taken to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital (HTAR) for post mortem,” said Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul when contacted
